Hope Children's Library
A small library has been operating in our school for years. If I want to be very precise, the term reading room or reading room is more appropriate.
The cabinets of classroom 1 are opened on Wednesdays, and where there are morning classes, reading and borrowing children browse the books.
The small library has nearly 3,000 volumes. The publications organized into a wide variety of topics help the children learn, and they often arrive from the daycare center so that they can do their homework, collection work, or collect material for a class. Anyone who just wants some peace and quiet can read here in peaceful surroundings.
Student librarians help with lending. Our school's students often add to the collection with their own, no longer read books. We gladly accept these publications and offer them for reading.
We also organize book collections every year. In recent years, we have supported the Szent László Foundation and collected storybooks for them. We also prepare book packages for the Transylvanian trips won during the Határtalanul! competition. This year, we gave gifts to children from Gyulafehérvár, Zsobok and Szászváros.
We welcome all little readers, because reading is good!
