Description of the project: The goal of the project is to modernize the energy efficiency of the Reménység Catholic Elementary School by insulating its facade and replacing its old windows and doors. Energy efficiency upgrades will be carried out on the main building and the various courtyard buildings (gym, connecting flat-roofed wing—which includes locker rooms and restrooms). As part of the program, the facades will receive external, retrofitted thermal insulation—this includes the firewalls facing the neighbor as well as the uninsulated gable walls. The exterior doors and windows will be replaced; the floor slabs in the unoccupied attic spaces will also be insulated, and the floor slab of the flat-roofed wing will be insulated as well. The ancillary work required for the thermal insulation and window and door replacements must also be performed, specifically: sheet metal work, installation of window sills and baseboards, replacement of shutters, removal and installation of window grilles, and repairs around openings.
