School Psychologist – Major Bálint

Dear Parents!

I am Major Bálint, a school psychologist employed by EKIF from this year, September 2022.

The aim of school psychologist activity is to fulfill a kind of "bridge" role, which is realized in close cooperation with the child-parent-pedagogue trio.

I will be available at the Reménység Catholic Primary School and Kindergarten during the following times if anyone has any questions or needs help. During my work, I undertake individual and group consultations with students, teachers, and parents on issues affecting students.

Monday: 11.00 - 14.00
Tuesday: 10.00 - 16.00
Thursday: 11.00 - 17.00
Friday: 10.00 - 15.00

I am also present at the school to help the teachers in their work,

●     to help the school's educational work, so that with my help, students can optimally utilize their inner potential, so that the personality of young people can be formed and developed in the best possible way during the education process. I respectfully ask parents to feel free to contact me if they feel that they need to. their conflicts with their child are more serious than usual, and for some reason they cannot find a common ground, it is worrying that their child's academic performance, attitude towards school and other people have changed significantly recently, they would need help in discussing the situation with their child and supporting them in processing certain family difficulties (moving, divorce, illness, death, etc.), their child has any psychological difficulties or problems related to school, their child has any mental difficulties or problems related to school, they are worried that their child's academic performance, attitude towards school and other people have changed significantly recently, they would need help in discussing certain family difficulties (moving, divorce, illness, death, etc.), their child would need help in processing certain family difficulties (moving, divorce, illness, death, etc.), their child would need help in discussing the situation with their child and supporting them in processing them, their child would need help in processing certain family difficulties, anxious, has integration or social difficulties

During the consultation sessions, we work together with the parent(s) in order to find a solution to their child's problem.

I also consider it important to state that I will carry out my work in accordance with the provisions of the code of ethics, in compliance with confidentiality rules, and to the best of my knowledge.
